This piece measures 270mm in diameter and is turned from a beautiful piece of Lacewood (or London Plane Tree). Plane trees were widely planted in Australia by the British settlers. Known in the US as Sycamore, it has an exquisite lace-like grain pattern, highlighted in this bowl's triangulated central pattern, hence The Trinity!
